For this wedding invitation suite, I collaborated closely with Nina and Shane to create a design that feels personal and meaningful. The central focus of the invitation is a custom hand-drawn illustration of their wedding venue, capturing the charm and character of the location where they’ll celebrate their day.
In addition to the venue illustration, I incorporated a series of small, personalized doodles that reflect details important to the couple—such as wine glasses, a wedding cake, fireworks, and greenery—giving the invitation a playful yet elegant feel. The layout is clean and minimal, allowing the illustrations and carefully chosen typography to take center stage.
The green color palette complements the natural setting of the venue and aligns with the couple’s desire for a rustic, timeless look. Printed on textured paper, the invitations convey a warm, inviting tone that’s both unique to Nina and Shane and fitting for the occasion.
This project is an example of how custom illustrations and thoughtful design choices can create wedding stationery that is not only functional but also a keepsake for the couple and their guests.
