This personal project captures the essence of a summer spent in my hometown, Belgrade, during 2022. As temperatures soared to 40°C, I used a 35mm camera to document the vibrant yet intense life unfolding around me.
Through these images, I sought to convey not only the heat and energy of the city but also my own complex emotions—a blend of nostalgia, melancholy, and the simple joys of summertime.
This series reflects a unique intersection of personal experience and urban life, aiming to tell a story of resilience and beauty amidst the sweltering days.
